Bergamot Essential Oil has a fresh, citrus and slightly spicy aroma. It is powerfully refreshing, uplifting and invigorating and helps maintain a balanced mood. It has antibacterial, deodorizing, refreshing, soothing, and uplifting properties which make it excellent for body skincare preparations. Blends well with Basil, Jasmine, Lavender, Cypress, Lemon, Juniperberry and Geranium.
For massage, add a few drops to a base oil and massage into preferred areas. For a steam bath, add a few drops to a bowl of hot water or bath and inhale deeply. To burn, add a few drops to an oil burner and enjoy the fragrance as it gently fills the room.

Bergamot is a photosensitizer (increases the skins reaction to sunlight making it more likely to burn) so it should not be used when exposed to sunlight or tanning beds. Bergamot has antispasmodic properties and therefore should be AVOIDED DURING PREGNANCY. Avoid during pregnancy. Do not use on internally or on broken skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.Do not use undiluted directly onto skin.
