Cedarwood is known for its antibacterial and deodorising properties, as well as its strengthening effects on hair and scalp. It is beneficial for chest and throat infections, cystitis, eczema and as an insect repellant. For skincare purposes, it is best suited to mature and oily skin. Blends well with Patchouli, Pine, Cypress, Sandalwood, Rose and all citrus oils.
For massage, add a few drops to a base oil and massage into preferred areas. For a steam bath, add a few drops to a bowl of hot water or bath and inhale deeply. To burn, add a few drops to an oil burner and enjoy the fragrance as it gently fills the room.
