Picked in Sichuan in 2008. Watch the dark strand unfurl into perfect lime green leaves. Transforms from a bitter start to a sweet licorice finish in the mouth. Renowned for treating hypertension. 50g




Directions:

Infuse 1 tsp in 500ml of hot but not boiling water. The perfect temperature is around 85 degrees (listen to when you kettle starts rumbling loudly). If you brew in boiling water the infusion will start to taste bitter. Ideally use filtered water (not mineral!).




Scent / Taste:

The luminous yellow liquor transforms from a bitter start to a sweet licorice finish in the mouth.
