Amber Mountain is a Yellow tea that is produced in very small amounts. Formerly an Imperial tribute tea renowned for it's unmatched purity and smoothness, the recipe to make this tea was lost for hundreds of years and only rediscovered in the 1970's. Monkey Picked tea comes form wild tea trees that grow high up on the edges of cliffs. Because some of the leaves are too dangerous to pick, trained monkeys are used to fetch the tea. A light green with a slightly spiced, nutmeg notes and full of antioxidants. Silk Oolong is picked only a few days a year in late summer after a sudden drop in temperature. The producer will wait for this cooling in order to capture the milky, creamy flavour that this brings out in the oolong. An amazing tea that has to be sampled to be believed.
