The champagne of white teas from Fujian province. White tea contains the highest amount of anti-ageing antioxidants compared with all other teas and Silver Needle is considered to be top of the anti-ageing teas. In China it is drunk to prevent skin ageing and maintain youthful looks. It's antioxidant content means that it is very powerful at slowing cell oxidation which is thought to be the primary cause of ageing in general. This is a very delicate and elegant tea which should be enjoyed without any mixers or sugar as these will quickly mask it's gentle but delicious flavour.
Place 1 teaspoon in a mug or pot of hot water (not boiling, 82c) so it will not taste bitter. Leave to infuse for a few minutes. Drink and enjoy. TIP: get the most out of our tea by infusing up to 2 times.
